Megan Denise Fox is an American Actress and also known to Model. Megan is most known for her roles in TV series “Hope & Faith” and her film roles, which her most popular role being in “Transformers” playing character “Mikaela Banes”.
Megan Fox was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Megan is of Irish, French and Native American ancestry and has one older sister. Megan Fox grew up in Rockwood, Tennessee, and started training in drama and dance at the age of 5. She attended a dance class at local community center and was involved in Kingston Elementary School’s chorus and the Kingston Clippers swim team. At 10, after moving to Florida, Megan continued her training. She attended Morningside Academy, a private Christian school, during her middle school years and finished her high school education in Port St. Lucie.
At 16, Megan launched her career after winning several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention and made her film debut in 2001 in “Holiday in the Sun”. She then landed guest appearances on “Ocean Ave.”, “What I Like About You”, “Two and a Half Men” and “The Help”.
In 2004, Mega starred in “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” alongside Lindsay Lohan. She subsequently cast in a recurring role on the television series “Hope & Faith”, though Megan’s big break came in 2007 in the film “Transformers” based on the 80’s robot toys with two sequels due in the future. One of which, will be due out this year entitled “Transformers 2; Revenge of the Fallen”. Megan also was cast in the film “How to Lose Friends & Alienate People”, starring alongside Jeff Bridges, Simon Pegg and Kirsten Dunst.
Megan has nine tattoos over her body, including a poem on her ribcage, a symbol for strength on her neck, Brian Green’s name on her hip, a pink flamingo on her upper thigh, and a picture of Marilyn Monroe’s face on her right arm. She also has one on her right shoulder that reads, “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies,” a line from Shakespeare’s play King Lear.
